On February 3rd 2024, RBB’s Ruhi and Aliya arrived in Cairo, Egypt. This was as close to the people of Gaza, Palestine as they could currently, physically and safely get.

Their mission was to engage with suppliers and NGOs to get a better understanding of the situation for people affected by the war in Palestine, as well as buying aid for, loading and dispatching a 40ft truck filled with essential aid for those in Gaza.

Here are two video diaries from their time in Cairo to inform you about what is happening, how we used your donations to send a truck of aid and how you can continue to help.

Our truck to Gaza is on its way

Thanks to your help and generous contributions, RBB and its dedicated team members managed to load and send a truck of vital supplies such as rice, lentils, dates, water and sanitary towels. The truck is currently close to arriving into Gaza after going through many rigorous check points, and with Ramadan approaching, it should reach in time to be distributed within Ramadan food packs. 

We are raising funds to send another truck of aid to Gaza and to also buy available aid items inside of Gaza for distribution by our field teams.
