Today we come to you with an extra special request – We need your HELP.
We would like to thank you all for your ongoing support over the previous few months towards our EMERGENCY GAZA APPEAL.
On the 3rd of February 2023 (4 DAYS!) RBB’s CEO Ruhi with other team members will be travelling to Egypt. This is the closest we can get to our brothers, sisters and children stuck in Palestine, safely. Our goal is to buy aid for, help load up and send a 40ft truck of aid to Gaza. Our field teams will then distribute this to families and individuals in Gaza brutally affected by war and an ongoing genocide.
Since October 7, RBB has been able to reach approximately 7500 people and supported aid distributions to provide: dried food packs, cooked food, fresh food items, and baby products.
Although small, the impact created by these first distributions has been mighty, especially given the level of restriction being placed on aid for Gaza: being a grassroots organisation we have been able to find alternative methods for aid, which is desperately needed, and deliver direct results and action to the Palestinian people trapped inside Gaza. Every day, under the conditions we are seeing, is pivotal to the survival of many: being able to provide aid to any of those can, have a significant impact on lives.
Based on needs assessment and guidance from those in Gaza and local partners with ongoing restrictions considered, we hope to load the 40 ft truck of aid with food, water, blankets, hygiene products and sanitary towels.
A call to action!
This is our biggest mission yet and we can not do it alone. We need your help. Your donations will ensure our truck will be full of emergency supplies and we are aiming to deliver 22 pallets of aid! With there being no signs of a permanent ceasefire, the people of Palestine will not only need our support now but ongoing.
